Randal Frisbie is a professional fishing guide and local tournament angler who lives on the North Shore of Lake Travis. Randal has been providing guide services and fishing several local tournaments and tournament trails since 2012. Whether you’re new to fishing and want to learn more about techniques or a seasoned anglers wanting to learn the ropes of tournament fishing, Randal can show you how to break down the lake and find fish.

Are you interested in freshwater fishing but are not sure how or where to start? Or maybe you want to refine your skills and techniques Randal offers a unique experience for each of his clients. Your trip will be customized and tailored to the meet the goals which are discussed prior to booking. It’s not uncommon for Randal to train a young angler for several hours on how to cast a spinning reel or the proper technique and presentation of a topwater lure. He’s had clients book a full day trip where they fished out of the client’s boat, and Randal provides on-the-water training on their new Lowrance HDS with StructureScan or Humminbird linked to I-Pilot.
Central Texas Fishing Guide provides guided freshwater fishing trips on Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Lake Lyndon N. Johnson (LBJ), Walter E. Long Lake (Decker), Lake Bastrop and Fayette County Reservoir.
His mission is to make sure your personalized trip is a great success on the water!

Guide Services

The rates for a guided trip are for up to two anglers. You don’t need to bring any fishing gear! Central Texas Fishing Guide will provide all the fishing gear, equipment and tackle for the trip. You will be using tournament grade equipment made by Shimano, Dobyns, JG Custom Rods, and Texas based All-Star. Snacks, bottled water and soft drinks will also be provided.

Full day of fishing on the Highland Lakes as well as the power plant reservoirs. The morning bite can be outstanding on the power plant reservoirs:

Wanting to catch fish after work?
There are dozens of lighted docks on Lake Travis with usually a good number of bass to catch! This is a great time to catch some fish for the table!

Evening trips start between 5 pm and 7 pm. Night trips typically begin at or after sunset.

NIGHT TRIP - $150 (3 hours)

This 3 hour evening guided fishing trip will take off from either Jonestown for anglers living on the North Shore side of Lake Travis or from Mansfield Dam park for anglers living on the Lakeway\Austin side of Lake Travis.  Trips begins after sunset and we will be fishing dock lights.
